Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is excited to announce an opportunity for a patient-focused Medical Assistant to join a dynamic Internal Medicine practice in Greensboro, NC. This position offers an excellent chance for Medical Assistants who are eager to expand their clinical skills and gain exposure to diagnostic imaging, including DEXA scans and X-ray procedures. The role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced outpatient environment and enjoy working directly with patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Perform administrative duties as needed.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, procedures, and testing requirements.
• Support office operations to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Assist with DEXA scan and X-ray preparation and workflow.
• Learn imaging protocols, patient positioning, and diagnostic imaging processes under appropriate supervision.
• Cross-train to support imaging services while maintaining Medical Assistant responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a physician office, outpatient clinic, primary care, internal medicine, or specialty practice preferred.
• Strong patient service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Interest in learning DEXA, X-ray, and other diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday through Friday, First Shift.
• Flexible schedule: 24-40 hours per week depending on your availability.
